Stromness (Saturn) was disposed of in a Sinkex by elements of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group on 27th October 2010.
Lyness (Sirius) became a training ship with the Texas Maritime Academy and is now laid up. On June 25, 2009, the Sirius was returned to the U.S. Maritime Administration who administer the National Defense Reserve Fleet.
