RFA Uplifter 1955 - 1966 Completed April 1944. Normandy. Remained commissioned until 1955 when reduced to reserve as RFA at Felixstowe. Commissioned again Nov 1956 for Suez. 1957 Malta where salvaged Gozo ferry Bancinu, then reserve at Sheerness. 1961 reserve at Pembroke still in class as RFA. 1966 converted to MSBV with Diesel at Hull. 1967 operational at Pembroke under PAS. 1972 RMAS at Pembroke. 1977 Rosyth. Sold 1986 and later scrapped at Inverkeithing.
