RFA Tide Austral 1955-1962
Built for the Royal Australian Navy but because of financial problems and manpower shortage, she was loaned to the Royal Navy upon completion. Freighted on charter until 1959 when she became operational with the Mediterranean Fleet. The ship was taken over by Australia on 15 August 1962 and was commissioned as HMAS Supply on 7 September 1962. Rebuilt in 1974. Decommissioned December 1985. Broken up Kaohsiung, Taiwan 1987.
