RRS Discovery II

RRS Discovery II GRT 1036. Built Ferguson, Port Glasgow, for the Colonies "Discovery" Committee. 262 x 36 x 20 feet. Single screw triple oil burning.
Named II as the original of Scott fame was still in service for the FI Government. Transferred to RFA for manning and maintenance 1950. Replaced by new build 1962 and scrapped.
