Fort Amherst Built by Blythswood SB Co,Scotstoun, 1936. Cargo passenger ship for the Red Cross Line, a subsidiary of Furness, Withy & Co Ltd and sailed between Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New York and the British West Indies.
