Based Portsmouth manned under RFA conditions to relieve PROSPEROUS. 1960 towed REWARD to Malta. 1964 in reserve at Pembroke Dock. October 1964 brought into service and manned under RFA conditions. Sailed for Singapore and arrived 19.10.65 to replace ENCORE. 1967 returned to UK towing FROSTY from Malta to Rosyth. 1971 transferred to Portsmouth vice CAPABLE as a relief tug. June 1981 transferred to Gibraltar vice ROBUST.
